  1. So you didn't find a fix for this bug then? That's disappointing, but I suppose we'll have to manage. Thanks for letting me know.
  2. When I tried this, and tried to take a disk drive out of NEI, the server told me "no such Item". I took the original Computercraft folder out, and put in the winrar file from the link you posted. Is there something I'm missing from these instructions?
  3. I didn't have a problem getting rid of it, but what do you mean by "persona non-grata"?
  4. We still haven't gotten a fix for this problem. Has this problem occurred for anyone else, and if so, how was it corrected? A lot of energy that we need will be collected from ocean oil deposits, and a water strainer will aid this greatly.
  5. So, do you have any ideas how to fix this problem with the water strainer?
  6. He was right beside it when it first caused the crash, so he was fortunately right beside it when he logged back in, and was able to break it.
  7. What do you mean by "rollbacking playerevents"? We were able to fix it by physically breaking it with a fist, although I'm not sure why it didn't crash the server the third load-up of it. What I want to know, because I think you have misunderstood my question, is how to fix the water strainer problem so that we can use it in the future.
  8. Launcher/pack Version: Tekkit 2.1.1 Server Operating System: Windows 7 64 bit Version of Java: JRE 7, 64 bit Description of Problem: When my friend set up a water strainer to separate the oil from the ocean water, the oil didn't go into the strainer, and shortly after, my server crashed, giving him a java error. The first message below showed up several times, exactly the same everytime. The second message showed up once the server was completely crashed. When I logged on later, I went into creative and flew over to the water strainer, but once the chunk loaded, I got the same java error with the same error messages. My friend tried logging on again to destroy it, and was successful. The first error message showed up several times again as before, but the second did not, because he prevented the problem. Is there a fix for this problem? We've got 3 oil deposits in the ocean very very close together, so it would be a lot easier to use this method of collection. Error Messages: First message: at powercrystals.powerconverters.TileEntityWaterStrainer.fill<TileEntityWaterStrainer.java:39> Second message: Read Timed Out Link to pastebin of log: N/A
  9. Wow, it worked! Thanks to both you and freakachu for all your help! I really appreciate it, as does my friend.
  10. I know what my external IP address is, and this is what I have given to my friend, along with the port number that I am using. I tried putting the external IP address in my server IP line, but then the server does not even work for me. He does not use AVG. I'm not sure if there is any more information that you need in regards to solving this problem, but if so, please let me know.
  11. I tried that, and it didn't seem to work. I also tried the external IP in the server properties, but that didn't work either, even with a new port opened up. The server address for others not on my network would be the external IP, colon, port number, correct? I'm just following the same formula for my Minecraft Vanilla Server.
  12. I have double and triple checked my external IP, and I know it is correct. The server IP line in my config has the same IP that I use, because that is how I set it up for my Minecraft Server. Should I change the config IP to the external one? There is no error message when my friend tries to connect. I checked that everytime he tried to log in. I use my router IP, but neither of the ones you suggested. I am aware of what an external IP is, and have used it before in another server for Vanilla Minecraft once.
  13. Launcher/pack Version: Tekkit v.2.1.1 (Everything up to date) Operating System: 32-bit Windows XP Version of Java: v7 32 bit Description of Problem: When my friend (his system information is posted above) tries to connect to my tekkit server, he gets this message: failed to connect to the server connection refused: connection I have made sure that the port for the server is open on my router from my laptop and not used by any other applications, I have fully updated my server to the lastest version. (I myself am able to connect to my server.) I searched on these forums for information to this problem, but found nothing of use. If the solution to this problem has already been posted, a reference/link to it is appreciated. If needed, this is my information: Launcher/pack Version: Tekkit v.2.1.1 (Everything up to date) Operating System: 64-bit Windows 7 Version of Java: v7 64 bit Error Messages: N/A Link to pastebin of log: N/A
