  1. If I understand what freakachu said right then what too much is depends on the speed of your computer, however 512 should work fine for anyone. You're best bet for the "perfect" amount of ram is pretty much always going to depend on countless things though so I'd advise just trying different amounts till you find the one that works best.
  2. Re: lag attack after 10 minutes holes apear I do not get these with normal minecraft, only when using the technic launcher.
  3. Re: lag attack after 10 minutes holes apear You're the man freakachu, the problem is fixed and you taught me something cool. Thank you. I'm still getting problems with holes in the world but they come with no lag now. I'm not to worried about it, it's only a little annoying, but it would be cool to fix it or learn why it happening.
  4. Re: lag attack after 10 minutes holes apear ok the forums won't let me upload more and the logs are larger than the amount of characters allowed to post. So I hope whatever you wanted was in those 2.
  5. Re: lag attack after 10 minutes holes apear ok you asked for it. The next 2 logs will be in the next post. Short answer is enough. 1GB for technic and 2GB for the system. If that's enough for me to run 2 copies of minecraft at once it should be enough for me to run minecraft without mods with the technic launcher.
  6. If you have this problem try going into the options in the startup screen and picking a lower amount of memory to allocate. Sorry first post here, be kind please. 64 bit windows XP with 64 bit java with 32 bit also installed. Java is up to date. No anti virus. The .exe crashes like this: http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,4682.0.html but the jar seems to work fine, for 10 minutes. I can play minecraft and after a random amount of time one or more chunks will stop rendering allowing me to see into caves and the game will lag horribly and the game will eventually crash saying that minecraft has run out of memory and has stopped. I took out all the mods and launched the game as normal minecraft and the same problem happens. I am not going to include the log files because they are mostly full of mod conflicts from me turning mods on and off, however if you want to pick through that I'll post them.
