Turns out it was an issue of my modem being used as a modem and a router. I had my ISP change it over to a strictly bridged setting as a modem. I will have to break out my old router and hook it up soon. Thanks

Re: Only Tekkit servers are refusing to connect. Nope, I stated my anti virus was BitDefender. I wound never use Norton because its a giant pile of @*$%. Thanks though.

Re: Only Tekkit servers are refusing to connect. I have read "http://www.technicpack.net/still-not-working/". "http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,4922.0.html" is not related to this issue. I disabled my firewall and antivirus without turning off the program itself and got that same results. I confirmed those .exe's were on the exceptions. Thanks, but it is still not working.

Since Minecraft updated to 1.2.4 I have been unable to connect to any Tekkit server with the Tekkit client. If I fire up the vanilla client, and connect to a vanilla server it will allow me a connection. What I have tried reinstalling the client by downloading a fresh copy from the technicpack.net website. Double and a triple reinstalling of Java 7. If it helps I used the .jar to install the technicpack client. The servers I am trying to connect to are: play.sgtekkit.net, tycooncraft.co.uk, and minecraft.occupies.me Error Messages: Failed to connect to the server - Connection timed out:connect Link to pastebin of log: http://pastebin.com/z9h49txp I don't think it will be useful in this instance but here it is.
