Hi thanks,yesterday i deleted and reinstalled java and then it worked. Sorry i didn't read your post. Now It says technic launcher is already open when i try to open it. I even checked on the task manager to see if it was open but it wasn't. Thank you for your help.

Launcher Version: 3.1.2 rec build Operating System: Windows Vista, 2GB RAM, 32 Bit Java Version: Version 7 update 10 Antivirus Program: Norton - switched off Description of Problem: I open the launcher from my desktop and it says checking launcher for a few seconds, comes up with the loading sign and then immediately crashes. I had a problem yesterday where it said update failed on all of the modpacks but I reinstalled java and now it does this. When I look in %appdata% the .techniclauncher file is there but it has nothing in it! Thank you anyone who can resolve my problem and merry Christmas everyone! Error Messages: None Error Log: None

Is this happening with all the modpacks on the launcher? Because that happened to me a few days ago with all the modpacks. I just reinstalled java. It works now. There must have been a brand new version of java just come out. Hope this helps, sorry if it doesn't.
