Dude, THANK YOU!!!!! I've had this problem for months now. Everything seems to be working now. =)

Mind telling me how? The blasted thing keeps poping up and I didn't even add new mods!!

Same problem here but i get the "minecraft out of memory" screen in seconds!! Like 30 seconds after it loads my world. I have 4 GB RAM (Old computer) allocated 1GB and I use the default texture pack. Any idea how to fix this? (Aside from getting a new computer)
