You can probably be sure that Omer's link is trustworthy if it produces the same checksum hash that is expected
Oh, duh, of course. Plus Tekkit will probably reject it if the hash doesn't match and then will try to re-download it.

Tekkit Lite is downloading a newer version of the file (they updated it) but it's expecting the old version and aborting since the file doesn't match what it expects.
No offense to Omer but I don't trust randomly-hosted files so here's the older version direct from the source on GitHub:
Save it to your "lib" folder and it'll work.
