So after some testing and some YouTube video it turns out that the newest version of logistic pipes needs to be powered by the logistic power junction, and that needs to be powered by either BC power or IC2 power. Just place the logistic power junction anywhere beside your network and it will work.

I am having the exact same problem. I didn't try to use logistic pipes in the last version, but the second I tried to use them in this version they won't create the "network" (placing three logistic pipes in a row cause the pipes to display red icons signifying they aren't connecting). If anyone knows what happened and how to help it would be greatly appreciated.
