Had the same problem but i removed the "[2]AdvancedMachines_3.6_bukkit.zip" under "/mods/". The up-side is that you can run your server and the down-side is that you cant use the advanced machines. It is ofcourse not the best solution. You can also try this solution : http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,2834.0.html But if you have like me a 3e party (game)server and you cant simply upgrade your java you could use the first solution.

Have you tryed the clear cash under option in the laucher? Maby that helps.
