Title: Tekkit Lags but not Minecraft Version: 3.1.2 OS: Windows 8 64 bit Java Version: Version 7 Update 9 Description of Problem: Tekkit is really laggy between 5-15fps, changing ram doesn't do anything. On normal Minecraft it runs on normal settings at 30fps with 3gb of ram. My question is why does normal minecraft run better than tekkit when it is more demanding than Tekkit and how can I fix it .
