Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I figured out that I needed to use a minecraft account. (Imma derp ) And I used that login, and it still said the same thing.

Launcher Version: Build 201 Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate Java Version: 7 Antivirus Program: Panda Cloud Antivirus Description of Problem: I've created two accounts on the technicpack site and both of them don't register with the launcher. I know my login information is correct, and I actually created a second account with a different login to make sure. Both times the launcher started to login and then came up with an error message.
