I got this exact same issue last night, and it seems like a lot of other people are getting the same issue as well. Whatever the fix is for this, say it be a new patch, I hope it comes soon.

Launcher Version: The latest version. Operating System: Ubuntu 12.10 Java Version: Oracle Java 6 Antivirus Program: Description of Problem: None of the packs are installing. At the end of any one that I try to install it stops and a window pops up saying Unexpected Error! Don't know what to do. I start the launcher by right clicking the jar and clicking, start with, and selecting Oracle Java Runtime 6. I don't know if that has anything to do with the error or not.
