you can update and start technic with 1.2.5 but game will crash the moment you are in world.
edit : my bad, seems the problem was related to texture pack (no idea why it autoloaded the sphax pack).

i only recently discovered the technic pack (via friends) and i'm dangerously hooked on it lol.
Anyway, just wanted to say thanks to everyone involved (big or small). I think with all the bitching and whining going on here (why x not work !!1!) a thread like this was long overdue.
PS : this is in no way a try to get rid of my probated status. I honestly couldnt care less about that hehe. I'm simply being sincere.

at what point was i complaining ? I simply pointed out something that does indeed causes crashes (yes it does) and could be easily fixed.

so you rather leave conflicting key binds ? that doesnt seem very smart.

i think so, yes. Anyway, since i remapped the "recipe" key to an unused one, i dont crash anymore while in inventory and pressing "R" (which i have an habit to do, in order ro sort inventory). The game will still crash, if you try to left click some items (i guess IC2 stuff, generators, compressors etc.) on the right panel, but i know now not to do that, so i dont get any crashes anymore.

i highly suggest rebinding the "Recipe" key (default "R") to something else. Its already bound to "sort inventory" and will cause a lot of crashes when in inventory (when hovering over an item and pressing "R")
changing this by default to an unused key would avoid a lot of crashes coming from that issue, which would then reduce the crash report load you see on this forums :)

there is an issue with this texture pack regarding thaumcraft 2. The monoliths combination wont show (images of different crystals on the ground, like a combination lock).
