EPICAS

Hi, I am new to the forums, so sorry if this is the wrong section. On my world I have created a pump powered by 4 redstone engines which pumps through cobblestone waterproof pipes into the tops of several strainers. These have ultra low votage wires connected to a batbox underneath. Originally, it generated power and the water pipes were about half full, but when I left and came back they were completely full and no water is going into the strainers, so it is generating no power. Can anyone explain why it stopped working/how I can fix it? Sorry if this is a noob question, I just started using tekkit for the first time. image:
