First off... I'd like to apologize if this is the wrong section. So I have a home server setup at my place with: Quad core 3.8ghz AMD CPU 16 Gigs 1600 RAM Servers setup on 1 gb ramDisk (soon to be bumped up to 2 gig) 150mbps download and 10mbps upload No-Ip setup Ports Forwarded I am running 5 seperate servers (Big Dig, Tekkit Classic, tekkit lite, Voltz, and Vanila) on this one computer. I am playing minecraft on a different computer. Expected to be about 16 people on the server. I am looking for info on: What can I do to optimize the chunk loading time / lag Recommended Mods Will all of the modpacks be compatible with 1.5.1 at some time? Is linux worth installing instead of running them on Windows 7 RAM Disk Anyways, please, hit me up!
