Ok thanks.... Will try again, next time my 11 year old ' minecraft expert' son is around and will note the errors..... Will only use pm in special circumstances, but cant see how to !!!! So is it actually possible to have traincraft and railcraft on tekkit lite or the new tekkit ?? Info Minecraft is a new experience for me....i know games, particularly online multiplayer, evolve over time, but minecraft has tekkit classic (not to be updated further apparently ) tekkit lite and now tekkit....would have been easier tekkit 1,2,3 etc....plus there are so manynadd ons which sometimes dont work with other add ons and cause other problems....maybe add ons / mods should be certified by mojang first, although this would be expensive and time connsuming.....i started with minecraft then tekkit classic, beleieving tekkit lite to be a cut down version, which it isnt....now there is a new tekkit with some features gone and some new ones.....its all a bit confusing.....perhaps it will always be this way....if i build my new world using tekkit lite, then a new feature is released for the new tekkit, i will have to start all over again.... Still an incredible game.....my first thoughts were " what a horrible blocky game " but since playing it with my son i am hooked.....have bought my own now and last week we setup our own server on an old laptop and share this with a few friends......was not easy at first, but now it works great. Sorry to ramble on so much, maybe i shouldnt make such a long post !!!! LOL

Hi Yes i am sure its not too complicated but when i tried.....minecraft crashed.... Know a fair bit about computers and programing, but tekkit and minecraft have so many variables and oddities its very confusing...and I.D conflicts are alien to me.... I plan to build a tekkit model train layout, always wanted a real one, but never had the space, time, money.... If i try it again is there a way of submitting the minecraft errors on this forum for some help... Many thanks

Been searching youtube tutorials for weeks.....some of them are completely wrong or very misleading...tha. Must be so many that want traincraft for tekkit....thought this the best place to look. Did some searching on this forum and found some interesting stuff that is totally beyond me.... Is it possible to pm people on this forum..... Thanks

Hi I have managed to put railcraft into tekkit lite and it works fine. I now would like traincraft mod. Is it possible to,use this with tekkit lite or the new tekkit ??? If so is there a tutorial / guide. Many thanks Reddwarf4ever
