So I was thinking that death is taken too lightly in the game. The only serious thing that happens is you may lose your items, and really that's not big deal when you're established, so people tend to go for your base instead. I want to have death be more punishing then just a simple respawn, so I was thinking that everytime you die, the amount of time it takes to respawn will increase on a set formula in seconds here: 1024*log(1+exp(deaths-16)); Until the timer runs down, you stay on the death screen. Quitting the game will not stop the counter. I was hoping this would be applicable on multiplayer as well. Thanks.
