(Note: For you stupid ass people who comment: "No idea " or "You probably did something wrong". Don't waste my time and shut up. It is really annoying. For those who actually know what they are doing, Thanks, a lot. Seriously xD)
Okay, so on my fourth attempt, i finally decided to consult for help.
This has flustered me quite a bit.
Here is the short version:
I downloaded all the files i needed into the four necessary folders within the mod pack folder (minecraft forge, player api, and render api). and all that junk. But after i uploaded it to dropbox, pasted the url into the Host url box. I downloaded the modpack onto my launcher and ran it, and a normal vanilla minecraft game came out as a result...
Why didn't the launcher input the mods?
So, here are my specific steps i took (i'll make it as short as possible)
1. Made a folder and named it.
2. Put four folders within the folder (mods, coremods, config, and bin)
3. Put all the mods i wanted into the mods folder.
4. went into the bin folder, created a .jar name "panda pack"
5. Opened the archive for My '.jar' folder (pandapack.jar) Render-api, Player-api, and Minecraft Forge.
6. Drag and Dropped all the files into the Panda-Pack.jar (MF, R-api, P-api)
7.Turned my modpack folder into a .zip
8.Made sure that the .zip didn't have a modpack folder inside (that the folders inside were bin, etc.)
9. Uploaded to dropbox
10. Put The URL into the "Location" url thing on my "create a modpack" window.
11. Started up the launcher.
12. downloaded my modpack,
AND FINALLY: when i started up my mod pack, non of the mods were in there, it was just a vanilla minecraft game.
So, what did i do wrong? Please and thank you for your help ^.^
