Alright, I finally got it to work by uninstalling java 6 64-bit and installing 32-bit then uninstalling 32-bit and installing 64-bit again, thanks for the help :)

Has anybody expierenced the same? Please help, I wanna play with Tekkit :<

Whenever I try to start up the launcher it loads and crashes at: Checking Launcher Version and an error comes up saying: An unhandled exception occurred in the application. The system can not find specified file. Please help, I'm using Windows 7 64-bit and using Avast anti-virus, I also checked my Java version and it's the latest and it is for 64-bit. Thanks
