I could but I really want to use my Minecraft user name. Is there anyway it can be verified without the email or cancelled so I can start again?

Hi I'm trying to set up a Technic account so I can upload a mod pack. When I was registering I put the wrong email address, and now can't verify it, and now can't use my Minecraft user name to re-register. Is there anything I can do? Thanks.
