Why Tekkitopia? I think the real question is why not Tekkitopia. What we should be asking ourselves is why we would rather play on servers where 9 year olds rule the chat with their constant misspelled inquiries? What we should be asking ourselves is why we spend hours banging our heads against walls when we could simply join a server created specifically for mature people.
