Technically I should have issued a warning and shut this thread down already, but I let it go because I didn't see an actual request.
You can discuss how the mods are coming, but asking when the pack will be done is off limits.
I do thank you for humoring us with allowing us to continue in this thread the way we have been, its always felt rather odd for me that all the times i have swung by the forums i never saw many conversations regarding the development of the tekkit mod pack, i'm aware that asking questions regarding it develpment is against the rules but is their a place where it is allowed to be discussed? I'm just very curious regarding its development as i have found myself becoming such a huge fan of the work being done with all these different mods.

Yea its nice that coal will play somewhat of a role in endgame now, last time i played i had near 10k sitting in my comp >_> just give me something to waste redstone on and ill be in heaven.

we more or less banned use of the minefactory stuff after learning how much it seems to lag the server, so as it stands now its lava pumps for everyone

A friend of mine had her whole base running off biofuel only problem is it was very clear to all of us that the auto planting and 50 plus cows she had crammed into a pen for the fertilizer was causing the server to lag more than the lava farms.

the sealers working would be nice, more or less the people i play with would just love the space aspect of it being more fleshed out, im really interested in the Solar panels tho, i tend to setup large computer systems and the power drain can get a bit insane over time. In the past i ended up with 150-200 magmatic engines running and i would end up drainning the neather of lava or having to endlessly mess around with mystcraft to find a lava world and that would just end up lagging the server to death for everyone else.

yea i really cant wait for this update, been wanting to get back into space and see something other than just the moon.

Sorry about that confusion with my post, but yea i ment Thermal Expansion was being updated tomorrow not that tekkit was.

Yea i have been pulling my hair out when i saw Thermal Expansion had just went into open beta and was being launched tomorrow, I can not wait to get back into Tekkit along with a number of my friends who very much enjoyed everything it had to offer. Going to be a exciting weekend if it gets tossed together soon.

Yea when this first came out alot of my friends were really loving it, but the lack of new stuff coming out for it is really killing it for us, we ended up putting alot of it on hold a good 1-2 months ago because most of the space stuff wasnt working, hoping in some time we would see some type of update for it >_>

This was posted in the pinned thread http://mirror.technicpack.net/Technic/servers/tekkitmain/Tekkit_Server_v1.2.0.zip , just changing the file to 1.2.2 seems to give the corrrect download http://mirror.technicpack.net/Technic/servers/tekkitmain/Tekkit_Server_v1.2.2.zip.
Tho i cant seem to find out how to get the current version without having to do this, have looked around this evening but havnt had any luck.
