If you are on a mac that is older than Snow Leopard you should have a text edit that under format has an option like this
That is what you want. This will fix the problem for 95% of people who have this problem
If you don't have this make the file in text edit then save it and then rename the file manually by right clicking on it and giving it that name.

Description of Problem:
Whenever i open my HEXXIT on the latest setting or any setting for the matter, the FML screen loads like normal but the bar stays at 0% until after about 5 seconds the entire thing crashes. Ive redownloaded it 5 times and tried everything on the forums yet nothing has helped me. Anyone have suggestions?

And my textedit has no option to -make plain text under format. NOTHING on these forums has helped me yet

This happened to me all the time and no solution works at all!

For me i can load up technic launcher but whenever i load hexxit ONLY HEXXIT the FML window dosent load and then after a few seconds the entire application quits. HELP

My mac is on OSX mountain lion so none of these work at all. No suggestions on the forums anywhere say how to fix it.
