Hey guys, excited to be back playing minecraft after a long hiatus. I installed minecraft on my Ubuntu system and it works like a dream. Now I want to install the technicpack to have more fun. I get the technic launcher to run and when I select a mod like tekkit and press Launch it starts downloading files (which is expected) and after a while it opens up two new windows. An FML loader and a Tekkit application. The FML finishes working and closes but the Tekkit application never leaves the grey screen it starts off with. I have tried deleting my .minecraft folder and my .technic folder. I have also deleted the technic launcher and re-downloaded it but I still get the same problem. It's stuck on that grey window. Any ideas on how to fix this? I've been searching for a few hours but all similar problems have ended up unresolved. Maybe there is a solution now? Thanks.
