had them both in there didn't work, i just tried it again but with a later version of forge and it seems to work okay, i just used the later one instead of recomended thats the ONLY change.. weird

oh the image i posted with it didnt work, it comes up saying 'NotEnughItems : Minimum version required is 1.5.2.16' but thats even with the 1.5.1 version of it i start it with only a few mods on and all the ones i have i've seen working with NEI on the default mod packs

and yeah i've tried that still doesnt work

on her post she said all mods go in the mods folder now their is no coremod folder, i dont know if thats just for 1.6.2 though?

i've created a custom mod pack and no matter what i do i cant seem to get NEI to work, every time i run it this comes up. im using the 1.5.2 client and have tried using both the 1.5.1 version and the 1.6.2 that she has up on her thread but cant get either to work and i don't know what to do so any help appreciated.. NEI is like a MUST for minecraft XD
