Okay, first off I'm a complete noob, I've accepted it and I hope you will too. How I managed to get the server working with no other issues in the first place is beyond me, but anyway:
NEI is letting non-ops spawn things which is annoying as I don't want to have to regulate them all the time when it's supposed to be vanilla. I've tried turning off NEI and the server was not happy about that and kicked me off on every log-in. I read that it's supposed to be default that only ops can spawn things, but it's definitely letting non-opped players spawn things in.
