I figured out a solution to this problem! If you are on a Mac OS sometimes the game will corrupt your world. To fix this you must go to the Technic launcher and click the Gear icon underneath the Tekkit modpack logo. and make your settings this "Manually select a build. Then change it to 1.1.7" Hope this helps! When it says Would you like to update this pack say no.
