Same issue. I noticed when i loaded up Tekkit classic it displayed "Minecraft" at the top of the window instead of "Tekkit." When I looked at my singleplayer world list, it had the saves of my vanilla minecraft worlds from .minecraft, not .technic. After a few seconds of looking at the singleplayer world list, the game crashed with a nearly identical error report as the one above. This needs to be fixed, now.
