nice that you have "Heaps" of ram, But have you actually allocated it to your launcher?

i would love to add more to it but it only allows for 1gb

We can't tell if your hardware is enough until you won't give us more details. What are the laptop manufacturer and model? What are the desktop PC specifications?

My laptop model is Hp Pavilion g6 Notebook PC

Desktop is GA-MA78G-DS3H manufacturer is gigabyte technology co. Ltd

Make sure you have at least 2 gb ram to the launcher (The cog in the right top corner) 

And if that did not work try updating your java. 

 

you can also trun some features off with /config See if that makes a difference.

Like I said it's not the RAM I have heaps and java is update

Every time I try to play this mod pack that I am so excited for I can't. I put it on my lap top but it's so slow it angers me so I tired it on my fiancés desk top and it worked great for 10 minutes then nothing but slowness. It says "shutting down internal server"

It shouldn't be a problem with RAM as we have heaps on our computers I'd love to get playing this mod pack but I just want to know how to fix it so it doesn't run so slow
