i appreciate the help dude. but i dont want to trouble you THAT much.
its just 1 mod. i could probably go without it if it really is that complicated to fix.

sounds like you got something in your inventory that your game doesnt like.
try opening your game to LAN. enable cheats, and type /clear. DO NOT open your inventory until it has been cleared.
keep in mind that you will lose the items in your inventory but it is a small price to pay to make the game stop crashing.

Calling yourself "not smart" and asking for "smart" people to help is specious and unhelpful. Please always use a pastebin service to provide log data instead of putting it directly into the thread here. Always provide the API URL or the a link to your pack details page when requesting custom modpack assistance.
It looks like you are attempting to start a server with REI's Minimap in the /mods/ folder. REI's Minimap is a client only mod and must not be on the server. There could potentially be more issues, but without a full crash report (in a pastebin) and a link to your client pack we are unable to offer more assistance.
thanks man. totally forgot servers dont do client sides. i see you on the forums pretty often, i guess youre pretty pro at modding huh?

right so long story short: added a mod to the modpack, 3 or 4 ID conflicts. easy fix. BUT the item ID's cannot be found in the usual place (the config files).
does anyone know of another place they could be or a way i can change the item ID's?

ever since TPPI came out, you can play the "latest version" of tekkit and voltz. it looks like a lot of big and cool stuff comes out in the next update, but when will it actually happen? i dont want to play tekkit and make progress because i know that when the update DOES happen, everything will be destroyed or lost due to new item IDs and ores and stuff. does anybody have any idea when the update will come???

Cauldron (formerly known as MCPC+ but both are now dead) is used as a replacement for the Forge binary to launch the server, not at the same time. Cauldron actually has forge in it.
As for your client pack:
- The download URL in your modpack settings is not direct. You need to add "?download=1" (without quotes) to any copy.com public share URL to make it direct.
- CodeChickenCore mod goes in the mods folder, not in mods1.6.4.
- Your Applied Energistics mod is outdated (even for 1.6.4) and has an odd name. The implication is that you did not get it from the author's website. This is usually bad.
- Actually, most of your mods are out of date and have known issues. You should update them to the most recent versions for 1.6.4.
- Your modpack has no config files. This is always bad and often fatal for modpacks build for Forge <= 1.6.4. When attempting to make a modpack for a server, the only way to ensure that the client and server are synchronized is to have the same configs in the client pack as are on the server.
As for the server, if you are using Cauldron I would just suggest you get the latest version and install it according to the instructions... but you can't download it due to all the DMCA nonsense. It sounds like you may be running an outdated version of MCPC+.

er i think i am using both. i am using forge to load the mods and i am using cauldron to enable the server

long story short, my server crashes if any more than one person joins. when i say it crashes i mean mobs stand still, time stands still, commands do not work. but for some reason we can still talk and walk around the loaded world.
can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Too true. The MCPC+ project has been renamed to Cauldron and has a new dedicated website for both 1.6.4 and 1.7.2 versions:

Please note that both versions now require the use of the installer in order to get the libraries and minecraft_server.jar as they no longer automatically get those on first startup.

shouldnt there be a .bat file to launch the server? the mcpc+ java file does not display any signs of it working. no windows or anything pops up.

i thought it just needed to warm up at first but even after giving it literally 2 hours it could not exceed 90% velocity. it has 3 energy cubes and a 15 turbine fusion reactor powering it. why is it not getting to 100%?

i see you are using a mac. no offence but mac computers arent really that good for gaming. the technic mods mainly built to work best on windows.

i have made a few reactors before in all my time of playing voltz but ever since it went to 1.5.2, fusion reactors arent working as they are supposed to. has something changed? also, how the hell do i get deuterium? the chemical extractor has changed!
is there anything wrong with the way its built? i had to spawn in some deuterium to test it.

hi,
sorry if i seem impatient but me and my friends were in a voltz war when suddenly the server became laggy. we re-logged and all realised that the latest voltz updated had happend during our log-out period. we really want to update our server so we can keep playing but the online voltz server is still in 2.0.4. can anyone at least give me an estimate on when the servers will be updated

theres no way im the first to ask this. whatever happend with voltz? it was such a great modpack. me and my friends loved to have annual voltz wars but then one day they released an update where half the mods were removed and galacticraft was added. that was 2 or 3 years ago now. i tried chasing it up a little while ago, a team of people on twitter were trying to revive it but technic wouldnt let them update it because the guys reviving it "dont have the rights". its not like calclavia or technic are going to do it anytime soon so why cock block them like that? i mean come on guys, voltz was hot. and the yogscast loved it which made it look even better.
