As far as I know no one has gotten staff privileges by donating. I'm not aware of any plans of to give donators these privileges either. =)

First, try disabling any firewall or so you both have running. Second, try and connect. If it works now you need to set and exception for tekkit. If it still doesn't work something else is wrong. If so but back the firewalls and all =)

Since your not reading any stickies or so I wouldn't recommend that you start a server. On the other hand there are people who would be happy to help you if you read them Start here http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/new-report-format-required-reading.2292/ =)

*edit* reading everything makes it a bit simpler *edit* Try changing the line bukkit.yml from "permissions-file: permissions.yml" to permissions-file: "plugins/PermissionsEX/permissions.yml"

I have a small server, generally just me and some friends. I have it gray listed atm soo you can log in but not build or soo. If you feel like taking a look just jump in www.hibble.se Oh yeah almost forgot. I've added Forestry soo you need to download http://bit.ly/LXw57u and place it in your mod folder and rename it to zzforestry-client-A-1.4.6.2_bc2.2 Example from my setup C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher\tekkit\mods\zzforestry-client-A-1.4.6.2_bc2.2.jar I'll be on and off the rest of the day soo jump in if you feel like it.
