Re: Launcher 5.4.7 Error Same problem, I'm using Kaspersky. @hackleberryfinn btw: microsoft security essentials have a hit quote of 80%, compared to over 99% with Kaspersky it sucks. You should better get rid of it. -
I just updated my .jar Techic Launcher and it still displays "could not connect to minecraft.net"

It's not your PC's problem. As far as i know about web servers and stuff they are having some issues with the mirrors.
