  1. Hi all,

I am running my Modpack on Minecraft 1.7.10 and I'm getting around 40-60 FPS on it. It's great, but I'm wondering if there's a better option.

My situation is I'm running a computer with a NVIDIA 970M Grpahics Chip. It runs Vanilla Minecraft (through the Minecraft Launcher) extremely well.

The thing is it was running on default Intel Graphics the first time I played.

I fixed this by forcing Java to run on my NVIDIA Graphics card in this location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\jre-x64\1.8.0_25\bin\javaw

I was wondering if Technic Launcher also uses Intel Graphics by default, like Minecraft. If so, can anyone point me in the direction of the place where I need to force a change?

TL;DR: Does Technic Launcher use Intel Graphics by default?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. Sorry for the extremely late reply;

I put nothing on the pack details page, so I'll put the link to the modpack here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/02g0wql6pfpecgj/modpack.zip?dl=1

Here is the crash report from before: http://pastebin.com/QU7uyRYX

By the way, it's very strange. I attempted to run the modpack again today. However, this time it left no crash report. I have not made any tweaks to the modpack.

Here is the log if need be: http://pastebin.com/EbLAfUUw

I could not post the log from the Technic Launcher since it was too large. Sorry for any inconveniences this may have caused.

    Thanks!

  4. Ok, here's what's happening:

I made my own personal modpack with a collection of mods. I start up the game, and everything is fine, the menu works properly, and the world generates correctly.

When I start playing, however, things go wrong.

A short time after the world generates and I start playing (around 10 seconds or so), the game lags/freezes. I don't know what to call it.

What happens is I can still walk and run and jump around the world and break blocks, but I can't interact with the world.

    List of what happens:

    The chunks don't load.

    I can't hurt mobs.

    I don't take fall damage.

I can't interact with blocks (chests, furnaces, etc.)

I tried to quit the world, but the game keeps on getting stuck at "shutting down internal server", so I have to force quit Minecraft/Java.

The first time I encountered this, I removed a mod and the modpack worked perfectly. I never added that mod ever again. Then, I added some new and different mods, and the problem came back, so I removed those mods. But the problem still persists to this day.

Any help? This problem leaves no crash report.

  5. I'm sorry if this kind of topic already exists, I've looked it up on search engones but I've found no kind of post like this... Please direct me to a solved post regarding the same problem if this has been answered.

Alright, I've looked it up on google and other places, and I've seen lots of ways to solve these.

    ID conflicts.

Now, while I was making my personal modpack I've run into one so far that says that something already occupies ID slot 3. I can only assume there are tens, if not hundreds more to follow if an ID conflict with a high number like 3 appears.

I need the fastest (hopefully also easiest) way to fix all of these conflicts. I know I can go into the config files and such, but... ugh.

Apparently you can fix these manually by making NEI do some dumps of availible IDs or something of the sort... but this doesn't seem to be possible, since I can't get into Minecraft anyway because it crashes.

Tl;dr: I need a fast and easy way to fix lots of ID conflicts.

    Thanks in advance.
