Okay, so if we want everyone to have optifine, they all need to get it on their computer, is what you are saying? If that is, then I understand now.

I don't understand this because I have seen servers online (youtube series') which have used mods such as smart moving, optifine and Not enough items mod. How do they do this?

I have optifine on my modpack. In the custom server tutorial it said that I needed to delete this and all client side mods. Is there a way I can bypass this? Optifine makes my modpack run way better, and I would really like to keep it. Also does this mean I must delete my core mods, suck as Cofh core and code chicken core?

I tried using your modpack but for some reason before it ran it simply went back to the main screen. It may have been the version of forge however, I will try again.

When you say run the pack locally do you mean through the vanilla launcher? Through forge, as you would a normal mod?

I fixed all problems except for the config files, so how can I add config files? I've never fully understood this, please explain them to me.

I know, I didn't want to add anything until I was solid that my modpack was running all of my mods. Thank you for your quick response, I will try this to fix it. Also, how do config files work? How do they help the modpack, and how can I make/get them? Thank you!

For some reason my modpack runs vanilla minecraft when running it through the technic launcher. I double-checked to have all my mods in the mod folder and my modpack.jar in my bin folder. If an expert could tell me what it is that I'm doing wrong that would be greatly appreciated, so I have less trouble in the future.
