Thanks for the information. When I installed minecraft it gave me the 1.2.5 version and I read through these forums that 1.2.5 goes with Technic 7.0.1. I've been playing the SSP version and was hoping that I'd made the right choice in regards to wanting to play survival mode along with the ability to build/mine/kill monsters/etc.

I'm new to minecraft, love it, and a friend turned me onto Technic. I was wondering, what does SSP and SMP stand for? Same goes for Vanilla and the Yogbox.
