[Weird Lag]

2 months ago a lag struck my games(like minecraft) , and long-story shot, the lag was mostly fixed. But on tekkit, it still is there. And by lag I mean, fps as 20-27, or even 15 when running. And the only where to increase the fps is to put the render distance at tiny, turning any other option dose nothing. Is there any way to increase the fps? Thanks!

Yesterday I put the mod foodplus into my tekkit mod folder, and it was fine, but now it crashes every 5-7 minutes. Is there anywhere to stop this?

Specs: MSI GE72 Apache i7-4720HQ NVIDIA Geforce GTX 960M 2GB 17.3

Most of my in game setting's are really low, and still the lag spikes. But the lag spikes only happens when I'm near mountains, hills, forest, etc.

Please I really want to play the modpack

I just go the IndustrialBox modpack, which has over 400 mods in it. Now when I go/ create any world, a lag spike hits every 3-9 seconds. Removing 40% of the mods stops the lag spike in biomes that are lightly dense. Any help to stop this?

the lag only happens when there is a lot of blocks around

I really want to play this, but I don't want all of the ores. I don't want diamonds on the surface. So does anyone know what mod this is? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
