  1. Well, I will have to correct myself, it still happens so I will have to wait for my new equipment to arrive...
  2. uninstall Norton google "Norton_Removal_Tool."
  3. 1. rename .techniclauncher in %appdata% 2. restart techniclauncher EXE 3. redownload the files 4. check again (SMP and SSP)
  4. Well, so it seems. That's why my new pc should on the way as be speak (or rather write). But to be honest, I have had no more related issues (but low fps, who would have thought ?!) since the update.
  5. you could as well try to completely deactivate the program. I don't know whether AVG can completely disabled, but worth a try (all AV should have the option to be deactivated)....
  6. I actually had an isssue with java crashing after about 1-2 hours and not releasing its resources (i.e. RAM) It could not be killed with the taskmanager either and I came to a point, where I was pretty sure, it was not releasing graphics resources neatly, thus a conflict between drivers and java and lwjogl. Since I was running it on a onboard graphiccard and they are not supported by minecraft (see minecraft.net) I attributed it toward that, but chainging to Tekkit 3.0.0-smooth solved the issue. I suppose it was due to the newer Minecraft version.
  7. 1. you are not using the latest launcher see log: [22:54:46] [sEVERE] Launcher Build: '0.5.4.9' 2. to be honest, your log does not qite make sense, because [22:56:18] [sEVERE] (MAtmos : INFO) Update version found: 11 [03:23:55] [sEVERE] Failed to move stack for autoreplace, despite of prior tests. Which indicates 5 hours of running minecraft... Also, there is no apparent reason for a failed Connection attempt in the logfile, please elaborate on the local time, your try failed.
  8. I have had issues with minecraft client not properly shutting down, but this is done with since I upgraded. I personally think it's a minecraft issue and in my case was fixed by using a more up-to-date version.
  9. It seems a couple of people have similar problems at the moment ...
  10. If you dont follow the instructions, we cannot help you. And please write "proper" english and not "chat language".
  11. I'd assume incompatible versions. and thus id conflicts and the such... but might be wrong Again, Error reports are crucial and it cannot be helped without.
  12. Are you using a firewall? Tried disabling it for a couple of minutes in order to make sure its not firewall-related?
  13. Does singleplayer work?
  14. Well, then either there might still be a hint in the logfiles or we cant do anything about it nowyou could try to get your brothers .techniclauncher-folder copied to your machine though and try to use that. make sure to rename your own folder. that would be %appdata%\.techniclauncher for win systems
  15. nw2372

    crash?

You seem to have Network-issues. Make sure it does (not) works, if your firewall is disabled. Also: are you sure you and the server use the same tekkit versions?
  16. Bug report format?!
  17. read the thread?! Its basically described there just fill in the blanks and use the FAQ's....
  18. Bug report format???? --> should be done by the player! Based on this information no debugging will be possible. In order to make it possible the following infos might be helpful: 1. Can he craft on a server in vanilla? 2. Can he craft in Tekkit on a different server? 3. Can another player (different login) craft on the server with his computer? Other than that I would assume, the recipe list is not correctly initialized. I would propose to delete the %appdata%\.techniclauncher folder (yes the whole folder) and redownload everything. Also changing to a different version might be helpful.
  19. Since it is not listed in ModLoader.txt by default, how would I disable it. I see the zip-file in the mods-folder, but there seems to be no config entry concerning this mod nor a name to search for in the config files.
  20. Launcher/pack Version: 1.0.1.1/3.0.0-smooth (as supplied by the launcher as of currently) Operating System: Win7 x64 up to date Version of Java: jre7 - Java VM: '1.7.0-b147' Description of Problem: Minecraft freezes in white screen after initialization. When I disable Railcraft in Modloader.cfg (by setting it to "off"), Minecraft behaves normally up to the point, where the world is loaded, i.e. the world (if new) is generated and chunkes are saved. Then the GUI is shown shortly (hearts, hunger points, inventory list - the slots). minecraft then reverts to "Saving chunks" and thereafter to the white screen. Error Messages: none from the program, but the white screen and a freeze. Window is not responding. Also see the error in the Logfile. Link to pastebin of log: http://pastebin.com/ctLqmCEk Current workaround: don't deactivate railcraft!
