Well. Now im really stumped, i have tried literally everything (bar a reinstall of windows itself) <--- which wont be happening. i think im just gonna have to give up on technic and stick to old boring minecraft. not that i will ever play normal mc again. le sigh.

i shall uninstall it JUST to test if its causing a problem with technic launcher. if nothing changes i shall be redownloading it. i download a ton of shit all the time and havent had a virus (that iv known of) in a long long time. AVG is on my trust list, and only untill this fails me will i ever change it. thanks for the advice though.

I will Agree that Mcafee and Norton Suck ass, But AVG has Been good to me since the start and i haven't had a single problem with it. plus the launcher worked perfectly well for about 1 month with AVG and wasnt till this last tekkit update that it messed up. i can pretty much guarantee its not AVG.

its allowed through it both public and private, but il try. back to you in a seck. TRIED: Nothing.... stopped at 26% of just downloading the actual minecraft.jar for tekkit. got to 31% last time :/ EDIT: Just tried voxel, yogbox and vanilla to play and all are failing at the minecraft.jar thing aswell, its worse than before.

its been doing it for 2 days now. like i said it was perfectly fine back then. also my normal minecraft loads up fine and i can play it. just seems to be a download problem with the launcher :/

Launcher/pack Version: Launcher EXE (1.0.1.2) Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Version of Java: Build 1.7.0_03-b05 64-bit Description of Problem: Basically i am unable to actually get anywhere with a download. 2 days ago it was working perfectly and then came an update for tekkit, i tried updating and the download said "failed" at the end. Now i cannot run anything via technic launcher. If i open up anything that needs downloading it will just fail the download at a random percentage. But if i have allready downloaded it i get an update that will fail, and not updating causes a white screen to stay on my launcher. I have tried removing the .tekkit folder and reloading and it fails on load. I tried removing the whole .techniclauncher folder and reinstalling it and same problem when launching tekkit or yogbox or even vanilla. I re-downloaded java. I tried turning off my anti-virus while doing it, its allowed through my fire wall and anti-virus already. I have looked through all the other posts and tried what anyone else has said but no luck. Error Messages: There isnt really one, but i suppose this in the logs best fits it not working.
