I managed to fix the problem by installing curse client and running the modpack from there. The only official pack I know has done this is Blightfall, which was a long time ago. I eventually gave it time and it's fine now.

I'm trying to download a modpack named "All the Mods," but whenever I try installing said modpack, It installs into "negative" percents and then reports an error. Screenshots provided.
