Hi,
I am new to this forum. I thought that I will start participating here by sharing an interesting article that I found recently. I vaguely remember my father using the phone booths some 16 years back during our visit to the New York city. Last day I read that NYC is turning these old phone booths a new life. They turned them to free Wi-Fi hotspots. https://www.acanac.com/blog/general-category/sidewalk-labs-whats-old-is-new-again/
They have named it Sidewalk Labs and I think it is one way to modify the obsolete service. It doesn't change the iconic booths we had seen as children. Free internet is next big thing and metropolitan cities would be coming up with newer ideas to give such services to the inhabitants.
