Doesn't matter - whatever option I pick, technic, tekkit (when it was still there) or vanilla - the launcher fails very early in the download of minecraft.jar EDIT: However, I just tried clearing out my .minecraft folder and forcing a download of the vanilla client, and its stalling on this as well, so that suggests a problem over at the MC.net servers, doesn't it? (And sorry if someone identified this in another thread, I find it very hard to keep up with all of them)

Ok NVM - I found it on the newly restored wiki.

But how do I build a rolling machine? I need the rolling machine to make rails and the only recipe I can find for the rolling machine doesn't work.

How will this help me make the rolling machine?

Running tekkit 1.1.4 , vanilla rails aren't craftable (as expected) but none of the railcraft formulas seem to be working either. I've tried quite a few and especially the rolling machine - with no luck. Can anyone confirm is Railcraft supposed to be working in 1.1.4, and if so are the recipes from the Railcraft wiki correct for within Tekkit? (I'd check the wiki but it seems to be offline)
