Ive tested things from the VANILLA launcher to heavy packs like the 1.7.10 pack and 1.12.2 pack.

If you read what I wrote, its all modpacks on the Technic Launcher. And when you mentioned AntiViruses, does NortonSecurity have a history of doing this?

Alright so I recently got a new computer and this issue ONLY occurs on Technic Launcher modpacks, not anywhere else or on the normal vanilla client with the same mods added. I am experiencing random frame drops. At one point I went from about 120 FPS to 3 FPS and it stayed that way for a solid 10 seconds or more. The worst part? Ive tried allocating 14gb of ram, Ive tried allocating 2gb of ram, it doesnt make a difference. Ive tried turning my render distance from Tiny to Far and back. Even worse, I am getting random blackscreens while playing these modpacks. This didnt happen on my 10 year old MAC with 4gb of total ram -.- Can anyone help me, PLEASE?
