Thank you so much, i was able to get it to work. I've only ever made 1.12.2 packs so I was very confused.

Every time I try to launch my pack it loads up vanilla. I have all three folders directly zipped and the modpack.jar file is correctly named. I'm using the latest version of forge for 1.12.2 and I'm not sure what the issue could be.
