Usually your control panel will have a kill or force stop button, unless your running off your computer, in that case just kill Java.

im hosting it with a hosting company. i was making backups but every time it backed up it overwrites the previous backup.
If you have acccess to FTP download the backups every so often.

There is a way to prevent the taint from spawning during the world generation, but you can still taint it yourself by using thaumcraft items alot. Alter the one line in the config file for thaumcraft for taint during spawn to be false and you'll be set.

Hey Jake, I'm KnightmareFury from the tekkit server you've been hosting, and I'm going stright into the point, 'k?
I've been rebuilding and modifying Duncan's castle from his LP series, and I was trying to make his automated castle gate. The thing is that I tried to craft Monitors (from RedPower) and I didn't know they were banned (if they really aren't banned then we've got a bug). I got kicked from the server twice and now I can't even log in. It says: "Internal Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException".
I'd be really grateful if you could find out somehow to fix that (try clearing my inventory (not good), or maybe unban me if I was banned (don't think that happened, 'cause no messages appeared)).
I really wanna play on the server, spent days on it and on the castle. I don't want to lose it

Hi Jake i was on the server telling a friend about another server and i didn't know it wasen't allowed and i got banned plz i beg my friend and i can't comunicate now and i need to talk to him plz pardon me and unbanned me i beg thank you for taking the time to read this if you are :)P.S. i love your serverUnbanned

To join: Open the Tekkit Launcher, hit Multiplayer, click add server, in server address put the IP listed above.
Survival - This is currently our one and only world! Here you can play Tekkit to it's max!
1. Respect all staff and players!
2. Do not use excessive amounts of capital letters in chat.
3. Do not use any hacked clients OR X-Ray, these will result in an insta-ban!
4. One swear word every once in awhile is okay, if you use swear words a lot you will be muted/banned/kicked!
5. Do not use any exploits, report them!

We have very dedicated staff and there will always be one there to help you!
All admins know what to do in almost all situations whether it's a griefing or a hacker!

Or use a trade-o-mat. Only admins and the person who placed it can change the trade. For more info about it, check the IC2 wiki, or the technic/tekkit wiki (technic wiki has more info than tekkit wiki, but both are horrendously out of date.)
That'd work to but don't they run out of stock? Or can you hook them up to a chest or something?

You could just use a plugin like, showcase, which allows you to setup a trade shop.
