Yea, I've tried doing that before as well. It still didn't work. But it never hurts to try again, so I'll try again one last time now.

Hi okay so i've spent a good 7 hours trying to make a modpack for my boyfriend and I to play on, and at the beginning, I thought everything was the problem until I finally checked the files on the modpack while installed on technic launcher and saw that all the mods were in the folder, except the forge doesn't work. So without forge working, there is no possible way for the mods to get applied to the game. It just keeps launching as vanilla minecraft. I've tried almost everything to try to get the forge to actually get applied to my minecraft, and nothing has worked. I just can't figure it out. I've tried downloading the universal forge 1.12.2 as instructed, but my computer keeps telling me that "The java jar file can not be launched" and it just refuses to open so I can extract it... so I've been putting in the normal forge installer download into it. maybe thats the problem? I've created my separate bin folder in my modpack folder, and extracted the forge installer download, as well as rename it as modpack.jar. Does anyone have any idea why it just wont come through??? I literally find it so frustrating because everything looks exactly as it should (i've read the technic modpack help, as well as watched multiple tutorials), but my forge just never shows up to the game!!! If there's anymore info needed to be able to find the root of my problem, i'm happy to give it. Also please keep in mind that i'm on a mac.
