Try to find a 1.2.3 vanilla server,make sure it work whit the vanilla client in technicpack and add all the file in the server dir into the minecraft server.jar

Dont Forget the lang file

Correct me if i am wrong

Bukkit is a server emulator and the code is a complet re-write

bukkit team write and re-write the code on each update,this is why all vanilla smp mod need to be convert to bukkit code to work

And of my memorie is good bukkit is open source you can find it on github

Put the id in the config reload the server and player can't craft a shovel

Hi on my server we find that iron shovel(id 256) crash the client,the only way to get it back on the server is to delete de player data

The message it give is [internal exception: java.io.IOException: Not in GZIP format]

We use tekkit 2.1.1 on ubuntu 10.04 server

Anyone have this probleme?

I search on the forum and i find another server whit this probleme and is solution is a sign at the spawn and it say "dont craft iron shovel'

For me its not a good fix

you have to ask to the server owner to delete your player data in the map folder.
