I can't figure out how to get the essences to make staves. Can you only find them in dungeon chests? or is there a different way to obtain them?

Well that worked but now it just brings up the forge world generator window and after that is done it is just frozen at the mojang screen.

When I try to download the big dig modpack it always gets stuck downloading a file called mystcraft-uni-1.5.1. It just stays at 0% forever on that file. I have tried everything I could think of to fix the problem but noting I have tried will work.
