Right click and select 'openwith' and then chose the default program. Change it to JavaPlatform SE Binary. Then follow the fellows instructions on where to put it :)

Possible solution (worked for me)
- Download minecraft.jar manually for the modpack you need. As some modpacks run on different Minecraft versions, please choose the modpack you want to use: Tekkit, Technic, Yogbox, Hack Slash Mine, Voxel Modpack
- Rename the minecraft.jar to minecraft_1.2.5.jar (Tekkit and Technic), minecraft_1.2.3.jar (Yogbox and Hack/Mine), minecraft_1.3.2.jar (Voxel Modpack)
- Place the renamed file into %APPDATA%\.techniclauncher\cache (you can open the start menu then type %APPDATA% for quick access).
- Launch the launcher, select your desired modpack and it should work.
Works up until I get to my server. Keeps telling me I do not have the correct mods. Digging into it.

I tried that. Also found a teleport pipe and a punch of pistons a couple chunks away. But it still lags so I am goin to further my investigation.
-
I have a plugin that scans the world for banned Items. Primarily it starts with regions then checks the world. So that might cause the lag but those scans are every 4 hours.
-
Im going to re-region all the areas around it and see if it was a glitched region protection.
-
Really? Wonder why... Anywho thanks for the heads-up.
I checked the entire area, set from level ground to bedrock to stone to get rid of any possible pipes or mobs or large amounts of entities. But, its a world guarded region with flags that dis-allow the ability for mobs to spawn and people build outside of their given region. Still a mystery.

Hello there,
I just protect a few chunks for players to build their houses on. When one player started building his house he noticed horrible lag in his general area. Figured it is about 6 chunks total that are lagging players that pass-through them. There are no machines running and no world anchors on my server.
Anyone have any advice on a possibly solution?
Cheers,

Okay maybe that would be a start... I was just thinking that. Havnt slept in a while. Now the reason why I tried unzipping them was because when my players tried crafting items they wouldnt show up in the finished product box. Any suggestions?

Kevin, Dont listen to Jorcer. He is not being too helpful.... On the previous page a fellow named UkSp0ng3 gave some instructions on how to install the modpack to fix this issue. If you know where the appdata is and how to rename a file your good to go Everyone starts learning somewhere. If you want to take this into private matters if you still dont understand just sent me a private message and I would be happy to help.
