[Automated Bucket Filling?]

Strict tekkit.

Try putting one cell in the pump to begin with, that might kickstart it. I haven't tried this exact setup, but I've gotten it to pump to buckets from a tank for an autocrafting table before, and sticking a pump next to a miner allows it to fill cells in an adjacent chest just fine with the pump's inventory empty.

At the very worst you can use it to fill buckets in an adjacent chest and stick an auto-crafting table next to it to fill cells from buckets.

I wish I could remember for sure if I'd put buckets in the chest to see if that works. I'll have to try this evening- I will confirm or deny its operation then! Thanks for the reply.

You know... I'm trying this in single player. I wonder if it is inexplicably different in Tekkit... stranger things have happened.

Skip the buckets:

BC pump to a tank.

IC2 pump on top of the tank.

Chest next to the IC2 pump full of empty cells.

I don't think it works to have the ender chest directly beside the pump, but you can use RP filters or BC piping to ferry the empty/filled cells between the ender chest and the normal one.

I am not getting this to work. Do you have another mod installed beyond the technic pack that might explain this, or am I just being thick? I can get it to fill BUCKETS and throw them in a chest, but that would require a whole lot of reloading or more complex automation that I would rather not do. It won't fill up the cells, for some reason. Thoughts?
