Thank you for the complments! I encourage you to donate, hopefully that pay check comes soon . I agree that we need a bigger community, I am just unsure how to get that. As for the downgrades, I have been looking for a cheaper host, but since I already did that about 6 months ago, we are already running on the best deal I can find ($24/95 a/mo for 8gb ram), and I simply haven't seen any other hosts that would be able to handle modded minecraft like this at a fairish price.

Ah yes, I forgot about the ram part. I will make sure to donate once I aquire funds!

Great server! I may consider donating once I recieve my next pay check. All the server needs is a bigger community; and John, may I make a reccomendation? I highly reccomend you downgrade your server plan to about 25 players, there isn't a big enough community yet to need a 75 slot server, this may reduce your server bill.

Oh, I see the problem now. Ignore my other post.

You have the folder zipped, only zip/compress the files, not the whole modpack folder. So like this.

 

First open your modpack folder

 

 

Then select all the files in the folder (Ctrl + Left Mouse Click) and zip it.

 

Then you should end up with all the mod files directly in the zip, not in a folder within the zip.

I'm confused on the problem. Is it that it's not updating, or its launching vanilla minecraft; because even if it's not updating then it would still launch an older version/current versions downloaded.If it's updating, but it's only launching vanilla minecraft then you may have a problem with your forge modloader, or the way you made the pack. I'll check it out.

Why do you want to play on this server?: This server seems really amazing, I've been pumped to play UMS because it's my kind of modpack, everything I want, and nothing I don't want. It's perfect, all it needs is a good server with a good community to play with! My goals are to make a futuristic space station linking between the overworld, mars, the moon, and space! I have big plans so expect me to stick around for a while.
