i just never did it before. i'll be happy to read the tekkit server instruction manual, but i cant find one, so i asked instead

didnt understand anything u said torezu, i redownloaded the server files and things (3.0.4) after redownloading java 7 update 5... dont understand system path variable or "maximum set at both 2 and 3g" and not shure what it is or how to change the 2g to -Xms, or what you mean by restart after reinstalling java -_-

ok, probebly ruined my chances of an operable tekkit server forever. the batch file wouldnt run right (it did before) for no aperent reason, so i reinstalled java, and now it says this: C:\Users\Owner\Desktop\tekkit server>java -Xmx3g -Xmx2g -jar Tekkit.jar nogui 'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. C:\Users\Owner\Desktop\tekkit server>pause Press any key to continue... then it shuts of when i press any key (oops)

can't reach server 5.139.114.145:25565 (using hamachi) i am launching it from my own computer,but my friend is the one that cant connect now, after i deleted nether ores it fixed it for me. i can connect to it using the same ip

i tryed that and it didnt work pokechu, thats why i asked

there is only a server.log.lck, it wont let me post or even open it

nether ores fixed it, i can connect, but my friend still cant connect. he insists its a problem on my side

is it supposed to create a new world if there isant one already? it didnt when i started the launch.bat file

how do i edit it to that?

i removed the tekkit stuff from it

and when i start my server, it doesnt seem to load as much as it should. my friend takes a while for his tekkit server to load, but mine takes a couple of seconds, and i know for a fact his computer is much faster than mine
